Thirty-two people, including 29 dancers and the manager were arrested in a raid at a dance bar in Chembur, late on Saturday night.

According to police, 'Tarana' bar was raided as part of the ongoing drive against dance bars, which continue to function despite the ban.
The manager, Sundar Shetty, along with 29 dancers and a waiter, Ramker Yadav, were arrested. The police is on a look out for the owners, Suresh Panday and Rajan Shetty, and the management, including Munna Yadav, Bhaskar, Suresh Shetty and Keshav for allowing illegal and unlawful activities in the bar premises.
"We have arrested the group for allegedly running a dance bar even after its ban and for allowing activities. They have been arrested under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act," said a police officer, on the condition of anonymity.
