Sixteen people were injured in a bomb blast in Agiapara evening market in Goalpara district, creating panic among people who came to the market to buy essentials.

The first blast of the day took place in front of Sonari police station on Sunday morning in which 10 people were injured, the police said.
The second blast came within 10 minutes of the first one at Sibsagar bus stand in the heart of the city, in which seven people were injured.
