A local and three Bangladeshis have been arrested in connection with the Wednesday’s serial blasts even as the police have promised Rs 1 lakh for information leading them to the culprits. The serial blasts left 74 people wounded.

Investigation officer Partha Lodh identified the four men as Nurul Amin from the local Camper Bazaar and Bangladeshi nationals Mohammad Joynal, Roshan Jamal and Abdul Malek, all illegal migrants. A local court has sent the four men, arrested late Thursday from different parts of the town, in police custody for a week. Five of the six people picked up on the night of blasts have been released.
