5 booked under National Security Act

The National Security Act has been slapped on five persons for their "heinous" crimes.Among the five, four are in jails on cow slaughter charges, while the other has been charged with raping a minor girl.

"District Magistrate, Ministhy S has taken a serious view of the heinous crimes. The four persons on whom charges of cow slaughter have been levelled are -- Bhole, Sabir, Mushtaq and Munna -- all residents of Ghiror police station area," Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Mainpuri, Sardar Karmendra Singh said here.

The other, Nandram Diwakar of Kuraoli was involved in the rape of a minor girl and NSA was slapped on him by the DM on Tuesday, he said.
