Five persons have been arrested for murdering a 34-year old local functionary of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) over a financial dispute.
Saravanan, PMK's Erode Municipal unit Youth Wing Secretary, was murdered by the five recently following a quarrel over running a finance firm, police said.

The five were arrested on Wednesday and remanded to 15 days judicial custody, they added.
