Three persons, including a woman and a child, were killed and four injured seriously when lightning struck them at Adra village, police said.

All of them had taken shelter at a place during heavy rains.

In a separate incident, a man and his wife were killed as lightning struck them when they were transplanting paddy at Kankari, the police said.
