500 CRPF personnel deployed in UP

The Centre placed five companies consisting of 500 personnel of the CRPF at the disposal of Uttar Pradesh Govt.

The Centre on Tuesday placed five companies consisting of 500 personnel of the CRPF at the disposal of Uttar Pradesh government to beef up security in the wake of the blasts in Varanasi.

Of this, 200 personnel have been given for deployment in Varanasi itself, official sources said.
