54 dead, 20 injured in Tanzania road mishap
Police in Arusha region confirmed that 54 bodies had been recovered and kept at two hospitals.

At least 54 people were killed and 20 injured when a bus in which they were travelling overturned and fell into a river in northern Tanzania, according to reports on Saturday.
Police in Arusha region confirmed that 54 bodies had been recovered and kept at two hospitals.
The police also said that initial investigation indicated that overloading caused the accident.
The bus was designed to carry 26 people, but it was carrying as many as 74 at the time of the accident.
It was going from Mirarani Suniro to Arusha late on Friday.
