60 fall ill to diarrhoea in Karimnagar

As many as 60 persons fell ill due to diarrhoea in various parts of the district, officials said on Tuesday. About 30 persons fell ill in Mirzapur and other tribal thandas in Husnabad mandal on Monday, they said.

Similarly, 15 persons were treated by the private doctors in Dammannapet village in Gambhiraopet mandal for diarrhoea, while 15 others were indisposed in Pattipaka village.

Karimnagar District Medical and Health Officer, N Subhadra said that about 15 persons were admitted in various hospitals in the district for treatment.

Medical officers have been sent to provide treatment to the affected persons, she said adding that the situation is under control in the district.
