Eight persons, including seven terrorists, were killed on Saturday morning when security forces foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Salotri in Poonch district, official sources in Jammu said.

The dead included an Army major involved in the operation to stop the ultras from crossing over across the LoC, the sources said.
