7th Auto Expo was a big success

The 7th Auto Expo held in January, 2004 with participation from 26 countries.

The Auto Expo has been the glittering showcase of the Indian automobile and auto-component industry for the last 18 years. Each Auto Expo has revealed to the world, the rapid developments in the industry and has been the launching-pad for many new vehicles as well as new technology components.

The 7th Auto Expo held in January, 2004 with participation from 26 countries; buying delegations from 23 countries; 8 lakhs visitors; over one lakh trade enquiries and business transacted worth Rs 2250 million, was a huge success.

The following were the highlights of the last Auto Expo:

Spread over 60,000 square meters

Total Number of Visitors : 8,00,000

Total Orders Booked : US$ 51 million

Participation from 26 countries:

Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherland, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America.

44 delegations from 23 countries:

Austria, Bangladesh, Belarus, Canada, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, UK, USA, Uzbekistan

Business Visitors : 1,25,000 ( Domestic -1,13,500; Overseas - 11,500)
