A patwari was also allegedly found involved in making fake property papers.

The case was registered at the Badshahpur police station on the directions of a local court.

Badshahpur resident Mahesh Kaushik had approached the Gurgaon district court a month ago.

In his complaint, he alleged that his cousin brother Rakesh Kaushik along with two builders Roop Bansal and Basant Bansal and five others had usurped his land on the basis of fake documents.

Mahesh further alleged that Rakesh also showed a share of his land in the documents as his own.

The builders had allegedly got the drawing passed from the Chandigarh office to carry out construction.

On the directions of a court, the Gurgaon police have been directed to carry out an investigation.

Meanwhile, sub inspector Shiv Kumar told Hindustan Times, "We will conduct a through investigation and have sought the land documents to get them verified properly. We are probing the case from all angles."
