8 IAS officers promoted, 19 transferred

The officers include Rajni Sekhri Sibal, Sanjeev Kaushal, VS Kundu, PK Das, Shashi Bala Gulati, RR Jowel and Dheera Khandelwal. Alok Nigam, who was on central deputation, has been given a proforma promotion. Rajni Sekhari Sibal replaces PK Gupta as the director general, Haryana Institute of Public Administration, Gurgaon.

Sanjeev Kaushal has been posted as the chairman and managing director of the Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd. VS Kundu becomes the financial commissioner and principal secretary, industrial training department.

The government also issued transfer and posting orders to 19 other IAS officers, with immediate effect.
