A 85-year old woman died when robbers attacked her house in Janata Colony under Sadar police station of Agra city Wednesday night.

A 85-year old woman died when robbers attacked her house in Janata Colony under Sadar police station of Agra city Wednesday night.

The incident happened Wednesday night at house owned by aged Prayag Devi. The four masked robbers entered the house through another house which was vacant. They overpowered both mother and son, Vinod. The robbers allegedly snatched away her ear rings while her son was tied down. The lady, being aged, died under pressure.

The robbers fled with fifty thousand in cash. Vinod managed free himself and cried for help. Police from Sadar Police Station are investigating the case.

Vinod's alleged record of gambling is also under scanner. The perpetrators are believed to be locals from the same area.
