97 held in Mumbai for consuming drugs

In a major drive against drug users, the Anti Narcotics Cell of Mumbai Police arrested 97 persons who were allegedly found consuming Brown Sugar, police said.

The arrests were made from 11 places where over 60 men of Anti Narcotics cell conducted simultaneous raids in various parts of the city, police said.

All of them have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, police said.
