An Air India flight on its way to Delhi from Lucknow made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Sunday morning due to engine problems.

"The plane, whose engine had developed a snag, landed safely at 9.45 am fire department officials said.

Flight A-I 891 had originated from Jeddah and had a brief stopover in Lucknow.
