Science, arts, sports, culinary skills, all are rolled into this wife of a Fauji. Priti Agarwal, while writing a cookbook and fiction, is at the same time is preparing for an exhibition of her artwork in Canada, which is scheduled in July. She had been a visiting professor in Physical Chemistry in University of Libya.
As a painter she has two specialities-painting on fabric and also the brush-less paintings. “One of my very good forms of painting is the brush-less painting that I do. I use my fingers, palms and toes to paint. The entire painting is done by using pressure.”
Brigadier Arvind Agarwal's wife Priti says, “I have been painting since I was a kid. However I took up painting as a profession only in 1996 when a lot of friends saw my paintings and asked me to paint for them. And it is only then that my hobby got realised into a full fledged profession.”
“I usually paint on fabrics on order. I paint on pure fabrics using natural dyes and colours,” says Priti. Her creations can be found in several boutiques in Delhi and Mumbai and with several known faces in the city.
