Nestled in the heart of the city, on the busy Najafgarh Road, next to a Mercedes dealership, is Asian Motors. The name is a familiar one for the over 11,000 Mitsubishi Lancer and Pajero owners in the city. “Of these over 500 are our regular clients,” announces Ankur Sachdeva, managing director of the dealership.

Besides selling the top two Hindustan Motors brands, they have an advanced body shop and a 45-bay workshop manned by 25 experienced hands. “Our USP is efficient service and friendly staff. We have a car pick-up and drop facility for all cars and we can deliver Mitsubishi models in just four hours. Also, our customer-care team does the post-service follow up, diligently reminding our clients about service intervals through mailers and SMS,” adds Sachdeva.
Doing a recce of the service station with Sachdeva, one is impressed by the state-of-the-art paint booth with colours in OEM standards. “For Lancer users, we also offer a few facilities free of cost. These include top wash, dry-cleaning of seats and upholstery and checkups for air-conditioning and wipers etc. With the monsoons round the corner, it may be a good idea to get a thorough check,” he says with a smile.
An interesting offer for Lancer Owners, operational at the moment is a warrantee where the company will pick up the maintenance tab for 3 years or 50,000 kms. According to Asian Motors general manager Naveen Kachru this will include everything from lubricants, to filters, to brake pads, to all the spares. “We have joined hands with insurance companies such as Tata AIG, Reliance, New India Assurance and United India, to ensure a cashless transaction for our clients. Through our surveyors , we will ensure that you don’t lose your sleep over the health of your vehicle,” he promises.
