If you are a health freak and want to keep a constant tab on your fitness regime, here are few apps that you would love to have in your smartphone. These seven amazing health apps are easily available on the web. Most of them can be downloaded for free, while a few of them charge a nominal fee.

iMapMy app series (Android, iPhone and BlackBerry) lets users link their workouts to Facebook and Twitter while they track progress via GPS. The application is for free.

CardioTrainer
CardioTrainer comes with a GPS log, tracks your workouts and plays motivational messages while you sweat it out. The application is for free.

All-in Pedometer
For those who’re looking for a straightforward pedometer application, check out the All-in Pedometer, which is available on the iPhone. Priced at $.99 (Rs. 45 approx)

Runkeeper Pro
RunKeeper Pro (free on iPhone and Android) uses GPS to track your runs or walks, and also measures distance, time, pace, calories burned and the heart rate.

AllSport GPS
AllSport GPS uses the phone’s GPS system to track runs, bikes, and walks, in addition to changes in elevation and speed. $9.99 (Rs. 452 approx)

Couch to 5K
It’s a great application for true beginners. Try Couch to 5K, which designs a training schedule for your first five-kilometer run. Available for $2.99 (Rs.135 approx).
