Jonathon Sharkey, a former wrestler and self-claimed vampire who pledges to execute convicted murderers and child molesters personally by impaling them on a wooden pole, is planning to run for gubernatorial elections in the US this November.
Sharkey (41) aims to be voted Minnesota Governor in November, and hopes to become the US President in 2008.
Nicknamed the Impaler, he bites wife Julie's neck before drinking her blood, but she says: "I hope people can see over the fact he drinks my blood. He's actually very sweet."
Sharkey's Vampyres, Witches and Pagans Party vows to have terrorists, child molesters and drug dealers killed on stakes.
"Other politicians suck the life out of people through taxation. I'm going to be totally open and honest. Unlike others, I'm not going to hide my evil side," The Sun quoted him as saying.
