“I am only scared of Allah,” said Faisal Khan, pointing his finger towards the sky, as the Bandra metropolitan court recorded his statement on Wednesday.

The court, after hearing actor Aamir Khan’s application and his brother Faisal’s statement, handed over temporary custody of Faisal to their father Tahir Hussain for one month, rejecting Aamir’s custody application.

The court also asked Faisal, who was dressed in blue pyajamas, to appear before the Khar police station every alternate day and undergo treatment as directed by JJ Hospital, where he was under observation.

In response to the verdict, Aamir told HT: “I respect the order of the honourable court. I hope my father will take care of Faisal and fulfill the responsibility that the court has entrusted him with. I wish Faisal all the best for the future, and I want him to know that I am always there for him.”

As Faisal enetered the courtroom number nine after the lunch break, he gestured a namaste to his brother. However, Aamir, dressed in a white kurta, did not respond and seemed tensed.

When the court asked how he planned to fend himself, Faisal replied: “I will do farming, but I do not want to stay with Aamir. If I need help, I will call my father.”
