The actor wants to devote the coming weeks to promote his home-production Taare Zameen Par which releases on December 21. Incidentally, the film marks his formal debut as a director.

See you next year
Apparently, Khan has committed dates from January next year to resume the shooting of Ghajini. But he will need more to tone his physique for the remaining portions of the movie. There are several baretorso shots, it seems.

Two big-budget productions will release on the same day as Taare.. These are Welcome and HallaBol. The actor-producer-director has persuaded Percept Picture Company to postpone the release of the animation movie Hanuman Returns which was also scheduled to open on December 21.
