"There's a lot of talent both in India and Pakistan," the star says. "I think the talent in both these two countries should come together and entertain the world audience. If the right offer and opportunity comes my way, I'd love to do a movie in Pakistan," he added.

Akbar Khan's TajMahal earlier this month debuted in Lahore.

Khan is one of Bollywood's most respected actors. He is also known for his outspoken views and helped publicise the plight of thousands of displaced families from The Narmada dam-building project.
