The AAP’s Ashutosh is contesting from the Chandni Chowk seat against Sibal in the Lok Sabha polls.

Sibal, however, rubbished the allegations.

“This is absolutely false. I have not distributed anything. I don’t even know of its existence. I am aware of the law and would never violate the model code of conduct. What evidence do they have that I have distributed them?”

At a press conference, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said, “The water purifiers bear the Congress’ symbol. This proves that he (Sibal) has violated the model code of conduct and we will approach the Election Commission.”

Meanwhile, the protest against AAP’s choice of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections continued on Friday. During the press conference, a group of AAP supporters staged a demonstration over the nomination of Col (retired) Devender Sehrawat from south Delhi constituency.

This was the fifth protest over ticket distribution ever since the party announced its first list of candidates.
