Volunteers of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from Uttam Nagar, who have been protesting the choice of candidate from their constituency, have threatened to go on anshan on October 2.

Claiming that they received no response from AAP leaders even on the third day of their dharna, volunteers said they would wait for a day before taking the next step.

Scores of party volunteers from the Uttam Nagar constituency have been staging a dharna protesting against the party's Uttam Nagar candidate-designate Deshraj Raghav, alleged to be corrupt. The protestors claimed a majority of them had opted 'none of the above' during preferential elections from among the shortlisted candidates.
