Abhishek as Tansen!

After Ek Aur Vivah's disappointment, the Barjatyas are planning to return with a grand film. To be directed by Satish Kaushik, it will be a bio-pic on the life and music of the legendary musician-singer Tansen who regaled Emperor Akbar’s court in the 16th century.

According to the grapevine, singer and actor Himesh Reshammiya was considered for the role of Tansen but character required Hindi speaking actor so, finally the makers zeroed on Abhishek Bachachan.

Ravindra Jain will handle the music part of the film.
