BHOPAL MUNICIPAL Corporation (BMC) has written a letter to Kamla Nagar Police Station urging it to file an FIR against Lake View Nursery and Van Nidhi Nursery for defacement of properties.
According to an official press release, the BMC anti-defacement team told police to file an FIR against owners of these nurseries including Ravindra Singh and Arundhati Tiwari for installing boards at Bhadbhada Road without obtaining permission from BMC.
On August 28, BMC administration had served notices to these nursery owners. Action is being taken under Section 3 of the Madhya Pradesh Anti-Defacement Act 1994.
Meanwhile, Mayor Sunil Sood and the BMC Commissioner Manish Singh has told the anti-defacement team to speed up action against the defacement of public properties.
BMC files FIR against truck owner: The Bhopal Municipal Corporation has lodged an FIR at Jehangirabad Police Station against the owner of a truck for dumping the garbage at public place.
The truck allegedly dumped garbage even after BMC officials warning to the driver. According to an official release on Saturday, the BMC filed the report against the owner of truck number MP-04-K-5946 for dumping garbage on open land in Subhash Nagar. The BMC later had to shift the garbage to Bhanpura trenching ground.
