The activists demanded action against English medium schools, decision of reducing seats of AU, erratic power supply and demanded a judicial inquiry into the Babbu Pandey encounter case. The demonstration was headed by AVM president Badri Chaurasia, PCM president Rajesh Singh and DAA convenor Dr Neeraj.

Chaurasia criticised the commercialisation of education in English medium schools and urged residents to come out against commercialisation of education. Rajesh Singh raised the problems of students of AU and students appearing for the competitive exams. Singh demanded 10 per cent selection in PCS (preliminary) examination, while AUU general secretary Suresh Yadav demanded selection of BTC candidates through test. Sushil Gaekwad demanded for revocation of decision of reducing seats in AU.

Dr Neeraj supported the demands of leaders and threatened to take to the streets if their demands were not considered. The leaders submitted a memorandum to the ACM (third).
