The condition of 82-year-old Suchitra Sen, who was admitted to a super specialty hospital after complaining of respiratory tract infection, is stable now, doctors attending on the veteran actorsaid.
"Her breathlessness and palpitation have settled. Her vital parameters are satisfactory, she had her breakfast and remains comfortable," a medical bulletin issued by Belle Vue Clinic, where she was admitted, said.
However, her doctors said that though her condition was stable now, she was under constant medical supervision.
Sources said diabetes and old-age have complicated Sen’s health further. The actor lives the life of a recluse and stays confined to her apartment.
As she has chosen not to be seen by anyone besides her family and a select few others, the only visitors at the hospital were her daughter Moon Moon Sen and grand-daughters Riya and Raima, all actors.
