Aditya Birla Jan cement shipments

Aditya Birla group's Jan cement shipments rose 12.8 per cent from a year ago to 2.73 million tonnes.

Aditya Birla group, India's top cement producer, said on Thursday its January cement shipments rose 12.8 per cent from a year ago to 2.73 million tonnes.

The Birla group, including flagship Grasim Industries Ltd and UltraTech Cement Company Ltd, produced 2.7 million tonnes, up 10.3 per cent from a year ago, the group said in a statement.
