Private sector lender Yes Bank on Thursday reported a 38% year-on-year rise in net profit at Rs 216 crore for the quarter ended June against Rs 156 crore last year, led by a robust growth in advances.

Net interest income jumped over 35% to Rs 354 crore, while advances rose by 26% to Rs 33,104 crore during the April-June quarter compared to the year-ago period.
