In a statement, MPCC general secretary and spokesman Manak Agrawal alleged that presence of the audience at the Kamla Park was so thin that the organisers had to make security personnel in plain cloths sit so that an illusion of a big crowd could be created.

He expressed surprise as to why Kamala Park was chosen for the rally when four big grounds are available for public meetings in Bhopal.

Leader of Opposition Jamuna Devi and Manak Agrawal have also condemned the administration for causing inconvenience to the general public due to the rally.

They said all the routes were closed for hours for the Yatra and traffic went haywire. This ‘arbitrary arrangement’ prevented many to reach hospitals, railway station and bus stops.

Alleging waste of crore of rupees on pompous show, Agrawal said government machinery was flagrantly misused for the Yatra. Agrawal also flayed arresting and police lathi charge on the Congress workers who were trying to show black flags to LK Advani’s Bharat Suraksha Yatra at various places in the State.
