A police team arrived at Fatah's residence, who is also the chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, in the wee hours on Friday and informed him about the restrictions on his movements outside his home for the day, officials said.

Fatah, who belongs to the moderate faction of the conference, was put under house arrest as his party had planned to take out rallies in support of commutation of death sentence of Guru, who has been held guilty in the Parliament attack case, they said.
