The agenda upholds that unipolarism and intentions of hegemonic domination in international relations jeopardise respect and application of the principles of the international right and the UN Charter.

As regards India, Terrorism, nuclear disarmament and South-South cooperation will be high on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's priority list.

The UN Security Council reforms will be another important issue that is expected to figure prominently during the deliberations, first in the trilateral India-Brazil-South Africa Summit on September 13 in Brasilia and the NAM Summit in Havana on September 15 and 16.
