AIADMK 'angry' over remarks

AIADMK criticised the Congress for accusing Pondicherry Lt Governor of violating the code of conduct by inviting BJP's LS candidate for a party.

The AIADMK on April 1 criticised the Congress for accusing Pondicherry Lt Governor NN Jha of violating the model code of conduct by reportedly inviting BJP's Lok Sabha candidate and other officials for a party recently.

Demanding the dismissal of the Congress government in the union territory of Pondicherry, AIADMK Pondicherry Secretary A Anbalagan expressed doubt over free and fair conduct of Lok Sabha poll under the present government.

Addressing reporters here, he said the Pondicherry Congress President V Narayanasmay MP along with some constituents of the Democratic Progressinve Alliance led by DMK had been making wild allegations against the Lt Governor.

Anbalagan said the law and order under the government had deteriorated.
