The All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) on Sunday demanded that the Government table the report of the Justice Mukherjee Commission of Inquiry in Parliament and let members of both Houses take a decision on the authenticity of the matter.

AIFB General Secretary Debabrata Biswas in a statement said the organisation would launch a nationwide campaign including demonstrations, public meetings, rallies and street corner meetings, from May 23 seeking that the Mukherjee Commission's report be accepted by the Government.

Biswas said the first hand information from the Taiwanese Government had made a "decisive difference "and helped the Mukherjee Commission arrive at the present conclusions.

The Shah Nawaz Inquiry Committee and the Khosla Commission, he alleged, had submitted their reports claiming that Netaji had died in an air crash "without making sufficient efforts to verify the authenticity of the evidence, witnesses and arguments placed before them".

None of the two panels had contacted the Taiwanese Government to have first hand information about the facts and records related to the air crash, and subsequent death of Netaji from injuries sustained in it, he said.
