Air-India Express on Sunday launched its first service linking Chennai and Singapore.

Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala flagged off the flight from Chennai.
There will be five flights from Chennai to Singapore and back every week in a 185-seater Boeing aircraft, the airline said. The flight will leave Chennai at 11.55 am and return from Singapore at 8.50 pm.
