Airport sources said the pilot identified the snag mid-air and requested clearance for landing, which was given immediately. The flight touched down at around 1.15pm.
The passengers were accomodated in the Air India Express lounge in the airport, they said, adding the flight was towed to an isolated bay for rectifying the snag.
