Air Marshal Naik visits IAF station

AIR MARSHAL Pradeep Vasant Naik, VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command, visited Air Force Station on Friday. Air Commodore P Kumar VSM and Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station, received him.

Air Marshal visited various units and sections of the station and interacted with the personnel. He was commissioned on June 21, 1969. He has a distinguished career of 36 years in the Air Force.

He has flown MiG 21 and MiG-23. He is a qualified flying instructor and fighter combat leader.

Air Marshal Naik has also commanded a front line operational fighter squadron.

Besides, he has the honour of commanding important bases in Srinagar and Bidar.
