He was addressing a seminar on ‘Recommendations of Lingadoh Committee and Democracy’ in the Banaras Hindu University in Lanka area.

He alleged that banning of student unions was a part of well-planned conspiracy to hand over the education system to private parties. He alleged that the BHU administration was ignoring the recommendations of the Lingadoh Committee and the Supreme Court directives in restoring students’ union in Asia’s largest residential university. He alleged that instead of restoring students union, the BHU administration was contemplating to set up Students Council. AISA state secretary Manish Sharma, Sarita Patel, Santosh Chadradev, Santosh Kumar and Awanish Kumar were among others who participated in the meeting.
