He tried the supernatural genre with 8X10 Tasveer and the film has opened to pathetic collections. Even his foray into animation didn't work. Jumbo couldn't do well at the box office.

Akki even tried to travel from Chandni Chowk to China but failed to reach the hearts of audience.

All we can do is to hope that Akki bounces back with Blue, Kambakkt Ishq, De Dhana Dhan and Housefull.
