The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Prof. PK Abdul Azis will launch the
Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, by Dr. Masarrat Ali, an alumnus from USA on April 29, 2010 at 5.15 pm in the Cultural Hall of Maulana Azad Library, AMU Aligarh.
Dr Masarrat Ali is a well-known entrepreneur at San Antonio, Texas, USA. He has been awarded Ronald Regan Gold Medal Award in 2009 and has been nominated as an official candidate of Barack Obama's Democratic Party to run for the House of Representatives elections in Texas.
Dr Masarrat Ali has done a marvellous job for digitising the entire collection of books written by and on Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, founder of the Aligarh Muslim University.
The website has more than 110,000 pages of historical documents related to Sir Syed, MAO College and AMU history.
AMU Registrar, Prof. VK Abdul Jaleel will be the guest of honour.
