THE ADMINISTRATION may have many officials who have apathetic attitude towards people’s problems. But there are some whose genuine efforts do not go unnoticed.
Additional commissioner Dr Sandeep Kumar Sharma is one such bureaucrat who has won accolades. President of India APJ Kalam, in recognition of his outstanding service rendered by him during the census 2001, has conferred upon him the Census Silver Medal.
Census commissioner of India JK Banthia has signed the certificate of honour.
A senior administrative officer at the commissioner’s office RK Pandey said that Dr Sandeep Sharma had won this prestigious award for his hard and sincere work done during his posting as ADM in Fatehpur district. This rare certificate has been awarded to him for excellent and spotless quality work.
Dr Sandeep has been hard working since his student days.
As a student of St Joseph’s College here, he excelled in studies as well as extra curricular activities. Later, he did post-graduation from AU’s Medieval and Modern History department.
