Addressing a party meeting after the election of Narendra Singh Tomar as the next State unit chief, Ananth Kumar, who is also in charge of the party’s state affairs, exhorted the workers to set an example by returning the party to power and prove that the BJP could form governments in other states and the Centre.

He asked them to be fully prepared to face the challenge for the Pandhana Assembly by-elections and replicate the victory secured in the Vidisha Lok Sabha and the Malehra Assembly by-elections.

Explaining the ‘mantra’ for success, he said the BJP could achieve thumping victory through “people-oriented government” and “worker-oriented organisation.”

Besides, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s ‘mantra’ of ‘Teji se vikas, sabke liye vikas aur samagra vikas’ (speedy development, development for all and overall development)” needs to be followed,” he said.

The BJP leader praised the work done by the State government in road, power, water, health and education sectors and said it will enable party workers to reach public.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP general secretaries Omprakash Mathur and Thawarchand Gehlot, party vice-president Sumitra Mahajan, and former CMs Sunderlal Patwa and Kailash Joshi also urged the party workers to work for the Assembly elections.
