Andhra CM announces ex-gratia

Andhra CM assured that his government will offer a suitable job to his wife.

The Andhra Pradesh government on Sunday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the family and a job to the wife of Indian engineer K Suryanarayana, who was abducted and killed by Taliban militants in Afghanistan.

Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who called on the bereaved family at their residence at Malkajgiri locality in Secundrabad on Sunday afternoon, also offered his condolences.

He also assured that his government will offer a suitable job to his wife and also try to secure a suitable compensation from Suryanarayana's employers through the Union Government.

There was pall of gloom as the news of brutal killing was broken to the family members. The Chief Minister tried to console the family members and assured all possible help to them.
