Five persons, including three women, were killed and four others injured in an accident between the auto rickshaw in which they were travelling and a lorry in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh, police said on Saturday.

The mishap occurred when the auto rickshaw travelling from Vissampet in Warangal district collided with the lorry coming from the opposite direction at Thirumalayapalem, SI Raghuv Rami Reddy said.
The deceased have not been identified yet. A case has been registered and investigations are on, the police officer said.
