Jolie once referred to the Africa nation as "the cradle of human kind" and now American magazine Life and Style has uncovered why Namibia is so precious to her.

The actor first took custody of her adopted Cambodian son Maddox way back in 2002.

Africa has also become a special place for Jolie. It's where she was holdaying with Brad Pitt, a year ago, letting the world know that reports of a romance were true. She then adopted another baby in Africa, Ethiopian Zahara, last summer, reports Contactmusic.
