Hazare on Monday cut short his south India tour and returned to his village, Ralegan Siddhi. He was to visit Hyderabad and head to Delhi to watch Parliament debate the lokpal bill. With the cabinet now expected to take up the bill on Tuesday, he changed the plan.

During the day, his team got the permission to use a Bandra-Kurla complex ground in Mumbai for 15 days for his proposed fast from December 27.
