Hazare reaffirmed his support for former team member Arvind Kejriwal and his decision to enter politics, saying they had the same goal.

“The two paths are different but the goal is the same,” Hazare, who has decided to stay apolitical, said at the final session of the conference.

Speaking at a press meet on the sidelines of the conference, Geldof credited Goa with being the source of his best drugs in the 60s. “I know some people are insulted, but I don’t mind. Goa and drugs were completely one in my head.”

Geldof, who bagged a Nobel peace prize nomination for Live Aid, a 1985 concert that raised millions for Ethiopian famine victims, wasn’t all rockstar swagger though.

“We forget how powerful charity is… What it actually is is one individual person is seeing the misery of another human and saying let me give you a hand here, dude… If one person does it it’s a gesture of charity, if millions do it it’s a political lobby.”
