Hazare flew down to Delhi from Pune around 1:30pm and straightaway left for Medanta — The Medicity headed by eminent cardiologist Naresh Trehan where he underwent a series of medical tests.

Manish Sisodia, a member Team Anna, said the activist was already undergoing treatment at Pune’s Sanchit Hospital for cough, back pain, high blood pressure and swelling in his legs. Anna was treated for acute bronchitis at a hospital in Mumbai earlier this month after he called off his strike for a strong Lokpal Bill midway.

Dr RR Kasliwal, head of internal medicine at Medanta hospital, said, “We have taken blood samples and conducted some tests. But it’s too early to comment on his health. He is stable at the moment. “He has no heart ailment and his vital organs are all right,” he said.
